Snap!

I've been finishing up projects that I have set on the backburner for too long. I'm pretty excited about how they're all turning out. Sometimes you need long periods of time in order to view things differently and see what you did wrong or to see the things you should be doing. 

As you can tell from this and other posts, I can't get enough of the tree outside of my apartment windows. It's such a beaut! I could make a series with all of the photos I take of that tree alone. 

I've got that baking bug again. These were just some pre-made dough cookies I threw in the oven, but they were delicious! I'm waiting until we get settled into our new place for some actual baking and new recipes.

Last weekend, I visited Opryland Hotel. Even though I live in the area, it was quite a treat to see! It's like a whole other world on it's own. You feel like you were whisked away to the islands! There's even a "nightlife" area. You don't even have to leave the building. There's shopping, restaurants  bars, pools... pretty crazy!

Playing with the Afterlight app has actually become a hobby for me. That app is so much fun and has great filters! I was playing around with the idea of using the circular frame around a photo of a circular object. I used a candle I was burning. I thought it looked pretty neat!
