W E E K E N D I N G

This weekend was pretty nice + stress-free! I found the cutest little vintage/handmade shop called Then & Again. It was a little hole-in-the-wall that I probably would have never even noticed if it wasn't for my mom's good eye. While we were looking around, one of the women working there showed us that if you exited through a certain door, crossed through an area where furniture was dropped off, we'd find ourselves in a whole other room filled with all kinds of goodies! It was like a little secret passage way. So neat.

I found a pretty little vintage inspired pillow there that I will have to somehow incorporate into whatever way I choose to design my new room. Heh. Impulse buy? Yes. But those are the best kind.

We also went to go see Warm Bodies, and it was awesome! I recommend it to everyone. I'm not gonna lie, I've always been more of a sparkly vampire//hot + shirtless werewolf kinda girl, but I've been slowly jumping up onto the zombie bandwagon (har har! Kidding! ...Kinda).  I've been sucked into The Walking Dead obsession, and this movie was just so hilarious. I'm definitely going to purchase it and add to my home movie collection when it's released onto DVD.

I also went house hunting... and most of the houses were creepy. The one above as so American Horror Story. It looked like Constance from the first season had decorated the place. Super mid-century. I may have liked it if it wasn't so... creepy. I love vintage decor, but sometimes I think it just makes homes feel like a big ol' thriller scene.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
