New Adeventures
This weekend, my mom and I decided to get out and explore our new city a bit. We used to visit frequently before living here in Nashville, so we're not completely clueless when it comes to finding our way around, but we still have a lot to discover yet!
We went to Mike's Ice Cream Fountain simply for coffee (I was so tempted to get a scoop of red velvet ice cream though!) and I fell in love with this little place. I love the vintage vibe it has what with the stamped tin ceiling, the flappers and fellas painted on the walls, and this guy pictured above working the "soda fountain." I'm definitely coming back here and actually getting ice cream sometime!

I kind of felt like a tourist, the way I was walking around downtown snapping pictures with my phone. I feel like no one questions it if your camera has a fancy, expensive appearance though... Hey, I just like taking pictures! I'm always going to want to take photos living around here.
We also went to a free art exhibit at The Frist Center. It was too crowded to really enjoy it honestly, but it was fun to check out. I guess you cold say we know not to go on Free Day... How cool are those roses in the front though? Little pieces of Wonderland.
xo.
